The Iron Hood Story

I created Iron Hood Fitness to be the training centre I always wished existed - a well-designed space with the best equipment and limited membership numbers, where the staff are friendly and eager to share their knowledge.

Six years ago, I was unhealthy and overweight with a terrible diet. One day, I literally looked at myself in the mirror and realised that something had to change. So I joined a gym. And it was there that I discovered my passion.

It wasn’t easy. And I made a lot of mistakes along the way. I spent a fortune on supplements. I ate nothing but tinned tuna and brown rice for a whole year before I realised the importance of macronutrients and a complete diet to achieve my goals.

I also realised that cultivating a strong mind was the first step towards a strong body.

Iron Hood Fitness is my dream gym turned into a reality and I hope everyone who experiences it enjoys it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
